K2K's presentation for 2018 titled "We Stand United" is nothing short of a masterpiece. K2K is widely known for infusing mas with designs that are runway worthy. K2K's presentation is divided into three clusters Apac, Emea, and Americas, giving us seven sections in all. I can't even front! I want to wear every last gown and instead of chipping through town, I want to ride in a horse drawn carriage, with a bouquet of roses in one hand, and princess waving with the other hand. A girl can dream right!? Is there such a thing as Miss. Trinidad and Tobago Carnival?
Seriously speaking, these costume truly have a regalness about them. As usual, I have my favorite sections starting with Totem from the Americas cluster. This section hits on all points - beautiful headpiece, awesome color scheme, nice coverage, and movement from the wings. I prefer the bodysuit option but the gown options are stunning too, as is the male version. I also love the special feature section, The Tudor Rose from the Emea cluster. This section is adorable - the flower details and sheer fabric are everything.
I really appreciate that K2K is in their own lane. There are a couple of other popular non-BBF bands but I can always distinguish which designs are K2K's which is a plus for the design duo. Overall, designers Karen and Kathy Norman have presented us with yet another stunning collection and I can't wait to see K2K on the road.
