C'est la Vie Review

The party was held in St. Clair, in the yard of a historic home, an old plantation I believe. Talk about ambiance! The setting was amazingly intimate, comfortable, and definitely an event for the grown and sexy. I arrived at the party a little late because of my scheduled costume pick-up time, which I have a gripe about for another post. As I walked in there were food stations in a "L" shape and seating in the center. As I walked around to another part of the yard I came upon a pool (closed off) and a sizeable bar. The final portion of the venue had a stage and dance area.

Level Vibes: I would give this event a solid 4/5 the crowd was great, not too young or too old. I would say the average age was 34. Everyone came to party--no stush vibes at all! There were maybe about 300ppl in attendance by the time I arrived--late.

Things I Enjoyed: This was a special event for me because it was the very first time I had ever attended a fete alone. I felt completely safe as there was ample security. I even had a party-goer ask me if I was okay and if I needed a ride home, Sis was looking out for your girl. This is the perfect event for solo travelers. I can also appreciate that it was all-inclusive for $100USD. Overall, I enjoyed every aspect of the party the music was good, the food was good, and the staff was courteous.

There was only one thing that weirded me out! There was a burning candle in the port-o-potty. I don't know who thought that was a good idea. I get it, you want the restroom to smell fresh but I thought that was a bit dangerous.

Going back next year? Let me say this, I think that Beach House is during this same time-block, Thursday afternoon/evening, and I'd rather attend this for half the cost. Still, I'm open to seeing what else is out there. Which Thursday day party did you attend?
